Carbon reduction – SDU call for input

It is still a commonly held belief that reducing carbon emissions adds to costs. In reality, carbon reductions are often available with cost savings.

The SDU has commissioned a project to deliver evidence on how and where carbon savings projects deliver a return on investment. The outputs will include data applied to the NHS and Social Care sector as a whole as well as a toolkit to understand potential benefits to your organisation specifically.

Right now we are asking for you to contribute to this work by completing a short survey. We’re looking for two things: broad data on the size and impacts of your organisation’s property and activities and any specific waste or carbon reduction initiatives you have recently (since 2010) undertaken. This will help ensure the output of this project is as broad based as possible.

Thank you!
